Club Wicked - New Years Eve Masked Ball

Cynthias Nite Club and Bar under the bridge at Tooley Street was the venue for Club Wicked's New Years Eve Masked Ball and optional Dinner. A reputation for being somewhat small and elongated was quickly dispelled this time around as a 5000 square foot spanking new dungeon area was opened up for the first time.

Let me describe this new dungeon as it is so intergral a part of the Club.It is basically a set of underground converted Railway arches interior decorated to a high standard containing a walk through area some 150-200 yards long off of which rest numerous rooms, alcoves, recesses etc all carpeted in the main warm and kitted out abundently, even lavishly, with a considerable number of pieces of equipment. They have really gone to town on this. There were about half a dozen or more whipping stools, about a dozen padded hospital type trolleys, suspension stuff and numerous very large frames, as many as 8 or 9 or more, plus much more including many stainless steel seats and high backed strap chairs etc etc. Also very many huge leather coated bean bag type chairs in one room (the luvvy huggy room).

The lighting is subdued to dark, possibly a shade too dark in places for my taste. The walls are decorated in an attractive stucco plaster material. All in all I counted 5 rooms, with one still in renovation. One weak point, no toilets in this part necessitating a trip back to the entrance to use the only apparent toilets, which though super modern and clean consist of only 2 men's cubicles in the whole place!

The event kicked off to a crowded start where paying guests mingled over cocktails before dining. Others kicked their heels until 11pm when the dungeon was opened. The somewhat stark and modern decor the remainder of Cynthias has been described as robotic. In fact the drinks making robot seemed to be out of action. It's all aluminium, pretty space lights and padded stools with a tiny disco floor that nevertheless takes about 30 folks. Music was subdued to the point of non-existence practically throughout except the disco.

It is perhaps a bit claustrophobic when full though movement remains possible unlike TG. It's a long winding club with several ante chambers at bottlenecks which help circulation. The Cabaret was quite good. A big white piano and singers. My favourite 'Lets Spend The Night Together' played with a thumping back beat.

Door and Security was very relaxed and OK.
No WM were seen.
Action was multiple and many interesting floggings were seen and deserved!
The type tended towards the maturer and plumper lady but many younger ones also got a taste of what it feels like to have one's bottom whipped!

Overall the whole thing had perhaps a somewhat synthetic 'SM by numbers'feel to it like 'How to create a SM Club', and a goodly percentage of the guests seemed to be more into costumes, dancing and striking poses than the true SM enthusiast. There was a 50/50 split between luvvy huggy orgy folks and the SM lot.

The thing actually felt a bit lacking in energy enthusiasm and vif and that buzz which is usually created by life like Doms or vigorous male Spankers and tearfully submissive little women. As it was many of the younger spankees looked like they were just experimenting and had been roped into it. Almost falling asleep during long spankings! The thing smacked of being a bit contrived. More like everyone wandering round saying oh how wonderful and curious is this playground, hope theres no pain.

All in all a nice return for the entrance fee, a venue where they've really tried hard, awesome competition, but might be a bit better with an entirely different crowd visiting.
