I felt I would write and review a relatively new company Dungeon Master Conversions, run by Jules and based in Stockport. They have built for me a beautiful cellar dungeon containing some of the best furniture I have seen anywhere in the UK
I had always wanted my own dungeon, but until my recent house move never had the opportunity to do it. I now live in a 4 storey Vcictorian house and following meeting up with Jules in December to discuss the potential for sub-terranian pervery, Jules visited my property to take pictures and measure up, and discussed with me at great length (in the local!) what he felt could be done with it ? the following week he was back with more equipment than an average branch of Machine Mart and commenced work.
In under 4 weeks the cellar had been totally transformed including removal of the ceilings and a wall, new electrics and lighting, central heating installation, stained roof joists and fully re-decorated ? all I had to do now was imagine what it would all be like when in 2 weeks time my furniture would be delivered and installed.
Jules had spent a considerable time in discussions with me to establish what my needs were, as playing with multiple partners, they each had their own favorite things. This ultimately led to some items of furniture being designed from scratch which Jules handled with considerable ease. I finally decided on 2 of their spanking benches ( a standard gym horse, and an amazing double sided one that can be turned into a bondage chair ? a creation straight from the depths of Jules? mind!!!), a beautiful whipping post with adjustable poles and parquet paneled base, a St Andrews cross, and a torture rack with adjustable tilting leg and back supports which is the most amazing piece of furniture I have ever seen!. Anything you can think of this man will create !!.
The build quality of the equipment is second only to the quality of the finishing and upholstery. At Jules? suggestion I opted for hardwood rather than softwood, and decided on a mahogany stain to compliment the black leather upholstery ? I also decided to have the optional brass bondage rings which really finish it off. You really need to see Jules? equipment first hand to really appreciate the quality of the finish, the beautiful woodwork routing, and the standard of upholstering. I have not seen dungeon furniture finished to this degree of quality available in the UK before. Other manufactures whose websites I visited prior to choosing DMC don?t even come close ? and the funny thing is that their equipment is usually more expensive!!!
To anyone contemplating anything from a small kneeling stool to an entire house conversion I can honestly tell you that you will struggle to find better equipment anywhere in the UK. Jules is a competent and professional tradesman who being an experienced player himself understood my needs and turned my fantasy ideas into an amazing playroom that will give me many years of pervy fun.
DMC have also just been reviewed by Tim Woodward in Skin Two Late-Xtra and their furniture is also now being sold in a number of fetish stores in the country, including Fettered Pleasures in London ? so don?t just take my word for it, go and see it for yourself (they also have a website at www.masterjules.co.uk).
