Having moved to the north of england recently it was time to find an event close to home. Birmingham and London are fine but too far, and too much for the finances. MzElektra and I checked out Consent in Preston.

What a pleasant surprise! The organisers did their best to make everyone feel welcome, the venue is large and warm (great when you're wearing very little), and while there isn't a huge amount of kit to play on, what there is is well made and has plenty of room around it.

I can safely say we'll be going back on a regular basis.
