Can anyone give me any advice before I throw myself into this, how to meet like minded mates (not necessarily for sex, am into having fun first and last.) Feel a bit nervous (and exited) about it but don't know if I've got the guts to go it alone, so other people's experience of their first time out and about would do me a lot of good I reckon. Like the ideas of both sub and dom roles depending on my mood (a switch?), I'm safe secure and sane, but inexperienced. Seems like that's a bit of a bad word for some people, but am willing to learn and explore what I prefer and where my boundaries are. Cheers people. |

oscagne wrote an article here recently which answers a lot of your questions from the point of view of personal experience... I'd highly recommend you read that for a starting point.

There you will meet nice safe folks have the opertunity to attended munches ( vanilla pub meets) for a drink and a chat, and from there go on to parties etc.
Sadly we have idiots coming into the scene for the wrong reasons, hacks from grub street trying to find *the story* and not caring how they do it or whom they hurt along the way, so forgive people if they are a little retisent to divulge their entire personal lifes history within the 1st 5 mins of meeting you But you will mka efriends and get to go to some really fabulous places whatever your kink is
