Now I have been on the SMBIs mail-list for many a year..(and been a bit of a wild rover as well, now you mention it !)but I've never yet made it to an SMBI event. Mail-outs have come and gone through my mailbox...play-parties...workshops on SM and the Law, rope bondage and all manner of other perversions in between.

So last Sunday, the day when I first made it out to an SMBIs event, was a bit of a turn-up!! I went my normal incognito self (t-shirt with my name on) and tried to see if I could match any faces to names, but being a shy-girl, didnt talk to many people!!

It was a cold wet night and I diverted slightly to collect a tall but soggy stella (LFS's new girrly correspondent) from a set of traffic lights somewhere in Sarf London before gallumphing across London to Kings X.

Woosh, drew up to a parking spot opposite the august venue. Quick in car yoga session as I got myself strapped into a rubber waist-cincher (well, couldn't let the side down!)with much giggling, gasping and pushing of bottoms against carwindows (who says perverts don't have fun?!)and then we were out and in.

Central Station is a gay pub, and SMBIs were gathered in a friendly bar upstairs before moving to the room booked for the session.

Jezebel kept messaging me with her progress as we had a drink and floozed a passing Aussie hunk ("out of bed"..."getting dressed"..."see you at 8.30") which made us look hip and cool and like we had loads of friends.

Maybe we should have a subscription LFS service.."Trendy SMS" where you can arrange for random messages to be beamed to your phone to impress your friends. "Sorry..can't make the club, picked up a couple of girls and we're going back to mine for some genital mutliation" ... "Can I pop round to yours for a spot of electro-torture this evening, hun?". Could catch on. Stimpy, please note for the next business meeting.

Hey..maybe we could do a sort of bratty escort agency where one of the LFS crew arranges to meet you in a bar or club, then rings you an hour late to say we'll be late, just waiting for a cab, then rings again after another hour to say we're too wrecked to come out after all and we're just going to stay in and flooze via the net? Hmm. Maybe not.

Anyway. We were momentarily distracted from Jez's morning (!) angst by the commencement of the star attraction - the Prof on electrical play.

30 or so people were crammed into the room, leaving us to stand at the back like naughty schoolchildren, giggling furtively when we got the chance, as the Prof (of Roissy) showed us and talked about various electrical implements, primarily the (hard to get or expensive) violet wand and the (can be bought from him, ?75) black box although TENS, PES and a variety of other items were discussed (including electrical fences, cattleprods and stun-guns, none of which were recommended!!)

The various sensations were demonstrated on those present. Mundanely, on the hand, mostly. Altthough one guy did end off flashing his hairy chest at us, there was no repeat of the personal black-box demo I got at rapture when I had my nipple licked (and jolly nice it felt too).

Anyway, the workshop was very informative..and the people were very friendly. SMBIs welcome everyione to their workshops. You don't have to be bi, though I guess some passing interest in sadomasochistic debauchery would be an advantage.

Oh..and Jezebel..yes..she did make it there before it finished!!
