The site was offline for just under 10 minutes today while a major software upgrade took place... the most visible benefits of this to you will be that (1) you can put a little biography on your user info page, along with adding a .sig to your comments, and (2) the software now allows you to reply to other people's replies, allowing threaded conversations a bit like a newsgroup.
We're fairly sure the new software is working 100% okay, but there's usually something that slips through all the testing and then bites you when you go live, so if you do spot anything you think is a problem, please email us and we'll fix it ASAP.
