We went to the new shop in Kings Cross this afternoon, Fettered Pleasures. The website is minimal for now but will be more extensive soon with pictures etc of merchandise.

The owner used to be in Regulation and they have the same friendly, expert, relaxed attitude to customers. It's down the road between Kings Cross and St Pancras stations and a little way along on the left. Opposite is a new market with cafe called Platform 12.

The shop is small but very nicely done, downstairs are toys and excellent quality rubber sacks and strait jackets, and upstairs bondage stuff. He also has violet wands and little black boxes and the perspex toy for CBT that I have only ever seen once, home-made.

He's going to get clothes by Damask and House of Harlot after Xmas, so will have made-to-measure ladies wear in rubber and leopard skin and stuff.

The selection is much smaller than in Regulation and concentrates on the bdsm stuff rather than the rubberwear.

All toys were very well-made. We only got nipple clamps this time but there were some new designs we had not seen before (and it's not easy to find ones bluerose hasn't seen). There was a very good selection. Oh, he had black rope too, for anyone still hunting.

And no, I am not part-owner, alas, or on commision, but do think the new owner *very* cute!
