I'm aware that I have a fetish, but unfortunately my man (I'm female) will have no part in it, and rejects my fetish completely. The trouble is, I love him dearly and would never leave him.
So, the question is, how does one go about finding a 'cure' for a fetish?

| By Louanne on Wed 16 Jun 2004 at 00:36 | I'm not sure that there is a 'cure' for a fetish. It is certainly true that you can try and ignore or try to subdue a fetish, but it will always be there in the back of your mind as it is part of you.
You don't say what your fetish is but the only thing I can suggest is to talk to your partner and try and let him understand it better. This would be a better approach then trying to force your fetish upon him. Maybe if he understands more about what it means to you then he may become more open to trying things, if only a little. After that, who knows what may happen.

you should never have to change that much to have a partener, compromise yes, but change completely no.
would you expect the same of him?
find a partener that will accept you for who you are, there's pleanty out there who would adore a kinky female, including myself! i'm sure that you will have no problems hun.

A almost everyone has a fetish of some sort even if it's not a very strong desire. Ok so your man is not to happy with what on your mind, so start by finding out what does it for him. this will help in the process of exceptance. although there is no garentree as some peple as just to narrow minded to exprore new ideas

But I hope to be able to get him to acknowledge my kinky side more - it needs work, but I'm ever hopeful that eventually he will accept it.
It's difficult being the only kinky one in the relationship - I feel like Eve tempting Adam with the forbidden fruit - but eventually, I hope he will get a taste for it.

So the answer is play away from home as i do,no iam not proud of myself, but it's the feeling inside deep inside that makes me do this,some may say leave her,i love her thats why i dont,sex does'nt have to come in to it,touching/feeling does but i dont think that is as bad as full sex.

It's difficult to love someone so much and have them not want to partake in fetish things. My man seems the same as your lady - not wanting to even take part in mild things, like a light spanking, or putting on certain items of clothing.
I don't want to play away, I don't think I could stand the guilt. How do you deal with it? Does part of you hate yourself because of it?
