Yet another Edinburgh-based fetish club.. Is there no end to them? The cynical-minded among us might wonder whether Scotland's capital can truly support so many fetish clubs, but when a flyer for Stunners was thrust into my hand along with an assurance I'd love it, I had to find out for myself.

Violate is normally the first Saturday of every month. However, for several reasons we are moving the date of the November club to Friday 21st November. We will still be holding our 5th Birthday party then and the theme for the night is 'going to school' (what else could it do when your 5).

Having had a successful launch, Obedience School is now going bi-monthly in the Granite City. The next event is on Sunday, 5th October, doors open at 9pm. Expect more stalls, more toys, more equiptment and more of the cyber/goth/house tunes than last time.

As far as i know Rock night at the fringe is one of the first London fetish nights. Jo from the LFS put it on. It was pretty good. The main thing is that they got the music right. From Stone Roses to Meatloaf, Mansun, Deep Purple. Really ecclectic good mix. The main DJ was someone called PVC Cat, she did a damn good job.

I d like to go to a fetish club or events in the Merseyside area. I get the feeling that the scene is for 20 year olds. But I may be wrong. I am 56 but very young at heart. Can anybody advise me of where to go?
