I know through reading months of postings on usenet that there is quite a wide interest in depilation, and that many are keen to find a permanent solution, but I think we've finally found the answer.

There have been a lot of rumours flying around recently about the Yahoo Groups service... people are saying that Yahoo will be removing all groups that contain 'adult' content - including any groups of this kind that were originally using the eGroups service, which Yahoo recently aquired. I contacted Yahoo customer services to ask for more information about these rumours, and their reply is republished below.

We have just returned from a weekend at The Edge. For ophelia and myself this has been a period of introspection and greater understanding of ourselves, and we both feel that we wish to possibly help others in their journey into a new world. We are writing our own accounts with no collusion or indeed access to the other's account. This is my viewpoint.

Firstly my partner and I (known here and on IRC as Goldenwulf or GW) have decided that we would both like to post on the subject of the weekend we have just spent, but have decided to do it independently of each other, ie post without seeing what the other has written first so excuse any duplication of information.

Absolution held their first St Albans event last week, at a venue called Spritzers. Another good night was had by most fetishists at this event. Due to this being the first Absolution to be held at Spritzers, there were a few Spritzer regulars (and others) at the event that didn't conform to the dress code. This did, in my opinion, lead to a less carefree and more inhibitted atmosphere amongst us fetish people. As far as I could see, the few pieces of dungeon equipment were used for the 'regulars' to sit and chat on as oppose to being put to their intended use of fetish frivolity.

A serious lack of working computer (and lack of time to sort it) has meant that I'm reviewing this event three weeks late. Sorry about that peeps!

Now I have been on the SMBIs mail-list for many a year..(and been a bit of a wild rover as well, now you mention it !)but I've never yet made it to an SMBI event. Mail-outs have come and gone through my mailbox...play-parties...workshops on SM and the Law, rope bondage and all manner of other perversions in between.
