After being to two of the Manchester Community parties with my partner I can't let them go by uncommented.

Saturday night (2nd December) I went to Klymax, a fetish club night organised in Portsmouth and I think I can definitely say that a good time was had by all!

We went to the new shop in Kings Cross this afternoon, Fettered Pleasures. The website is minimal for now but will be more extensive soon with pictures etc of merchandise.

Absolution run regular fetish nights in the Milton Keynes area (see previous reviews [ 1 ] [ 2 ]). For last night, their second birthday party and early Xmas event, they obtained a bigger and better venue than those they have previously used to put on their events.

The Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar for November was as eye-opening as ever, with plenty of new stalls to browse and new faces to get to know. Of note were a very well-stocked new leather stall and a tarot reader! The B2g crowd were there in force, making as much of a nuisance of themselves as usual - in a good way though!

A month ago I reviewed Tight Laced, a small fetish night in the Cambridge area. I said at the time that I would definitely be going to the next one, and amazingly I actually managed it!

I thought Subverse managed to be what it said on the advert! Open minded, friendly and supportive. We didn't read our poems out but we did share them around and discuss how they related to the theme, which is primarily now, valuing submission, surrender and submissive people. My husband and my Master were both there to support me in this unusual experiment. One man turned up having seen my small poster in the Poetry Cafe. He said he came because it was enigmatic and interesting. He was a frequenter of fetish clubs and when I showed him the 'Beginner's Guide to BDSM' leaflet I have compiled, he made comments like what does BDSM stand for, what does a munch mean and I think vanilla is an underrated flavour, to which we all agreed! He also said I was making myself doubly vulnerable by combining poetry and submission in one event!

Prompted by a discussion on the uk.people.bdsm newsgroup, I've started putting together a 'Perv Code', an idea based on the popular Geek Code.

I've just got home from Tight Laced at the Q club in Cambridge, an up and coming event with a seriously low entry price, and a good variety of music through the night.
