We got there early - thanks to comments in the TG newsletter (one of the many very good things about TG is how honest they are about any flaws in a night) we were warned about the new cloak room problem. Getting there early solves that. Lucky - I don't think it's quite sorted yet. For some bizarre reason the new management sees fit to make you stand in one queue to drop your bags, and a different queue for coats. There are no signs to indicate this. Silly.

Well the first Klymax was a rather quiet (but pleasantly mellow) affair with about 30 people showing up, so I hoped the second one might pick up a bit.

Just a prompt for those who might be interested. Wasteland can be about the biggest & best fetish club in Europe. It runs twice a year, you can find links from the DeMask Site. The next time it is on is the 14th April. Easter Saturday in Amsterdam. It is a busy time so if you want to go and get a decent hotel at a decent price you need to book early.

Saturday 3rd February saw another Open Interactive Munch take place at the Retro Bar in Manchester.

Club Flesh is Torture Garden's "back to basics" fetish night, which they relaunched last weekend (Saturday 3rd February) at Cynthia's in London (a venue which previously housed their 'Cybersex' event). A new feature of the event is a fetish-theme restaurant before the club, with appropriately attired waitresses and entertainment while you eat.

I know quite a few people are already familiar with this, but for the benefit of those who aren't, this is a review I just posted on amazon:

What can I say ? Toppitoes and I had a wonderful time. For a start the location in a remote part of North Devon has to be seen to be believed. It is so peaceful that you feel that you have drifted into another world the moment you arrive.

For Xmas I was spoilt rotten by my wonderful boyfriend who bought me a rubber dress from Westward Bound, using their webpages to order it.

Friday was the latest event put on by the Milton Keynes based Absolution team, the second event they have put on at a new venue, the Pink Punter. Sadly, although the event staff made loads of improvements to the evening based on customer feedback from their previous events, their efforts were almost totally overshadowed by an influx of lager-louts in jeans and t-shirts who were apparently "friends of the manager's son".
